In 1985 the Rotary Club was established in Craigieburn, the charter sponsor club was the Rotary club of Sunbury and we also have a close working relationship with the Rotary Clubs of Broadmeadows and Strathmore, we are all a part of Rotary district 9790.

The Rotary club is a non-profit service organisation that provides assistance to people through a number of avenues of service: – Community, New Generations (Vocational), International and youth services, our club is primarily made up from business professionals and community leaders who are committed to raising funds to benefit others, these funds are fed back into the community through various Rotary projects.

The Rotary Club of Craigieburn has been supporting local Organisations and  schools for the past 30 years, providing funding and support for the following just to name a few.

• Equipment Funding for Emergency service organisations
• Annual School Scholarships.
• Sponsoring – students to the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF).
• Providing funds to assist local schools, to attend the State School Musical Spectacular.
• Support and sponsor students to attend – (RYPEN) Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment.
• Providing funds for local schools for specialised projects.
• Provide funds to schools for sporting events.
